What is the Order of the Ever-Unfolding Rose?
It is a monthly membership, led by me, Larissa Thera.
Each month we take one archetype from The Mystic's Journey and work with it three ways. You learn it. You receive it in live transmissions. And you watch Suzy trip over it in an illustrated story.
In Suzy's world, the Order is the old rose lineage that sends the invitations. In ours, it is the membership itself: a real community with a real teacher. When you join, you receive your own invitation, and you step into both.
It started with a friend calling me out.
I was seeking knowledge, looking at every aspect of myself like it needed healing. I signed up for every class, meditation, course, or program I could get my hands on. Anyone talking about healing, starseeds, and magic, I was in!
Years ago, I was on some sort of mini rant about healing and shadow work, when a friend stopped me and said, “Whoa there, Little Suzy Lightworker.” Oops...I had gotten ahead of myself!
I have carried Suzy with me ever since. She's been peeking around the edges of my life looking to make her big debut—waiting for me to put the pieces together.
She is every one of us who has tried a little too hard to make the magic happen. And she turned out to be the kindest way I know to teach the spiritual path, because it is so much easier to see yourself when it's happening to a fairy in gingham.
There's a Little Suzy Lightworker in all of us.
So I built her a world. Then I built a door into it for you.

Meet Little Suzy Lightworker
Suzy has been awake for just about a year and a half, spiritually speaking, and she is making the most of it.
She has a wand, a scout troop, a clubhouse at the end of Garden Lane, and a black cat, an old soul who goes everywhere with her and approves of none of it. She also has a spirit guide, who loves her and is very tired. Her motto is “Always over-prepare!”
Each month, Suzy meets the archetype before you do, usually face first. You watch from a comfortable distance. You laugh. And somewhere around page six, you recognize yourself.
That is the teaching. It goes in easier with lemon bars.

The Mystic's Journey is the map: 22 tarot archetypes, each one a stage of becoming, from The Innocent to The World-Bringer. It is what we study in the Order, one archetype a month.
The Magical Misadventures of Little Suzy Lightworker and the Sparkle Scouts is the same path, lived out loud. In each chapter Suzy stumbles into that month's lesson, so you get to see it from the outside before you meet it on the inside.
The Mystic's Journey teaches it.

How you'll be supported
You are not doing this alone.
Twice each month we gather live: once to be initiated into the month's archetype, and once to anchor what it opened in you. I lead both.
Between gatherings, the Order's community is where you bring what's coming up, share what you're seeing, and find the others who have also been a little too much for the room.
I'm the Keeper of the Order. That means I hold the door, the teaching and the transmissions, and I walk it with you.
Who this is for
You have always felt more than you were supposed to.
You walk into a room and know who is sad. You have carried things that were never yours, and you got so good at carrying that nobody thought to ask how you were.
Lately something underneath all of it has been asking for you. It is quiet, it is patient, and it is not going away. That is the rose, beginning to open.
You may also have set off a smoke detector while cleansing your living room, asked for a second sign to confirm the first, or pulled most of the deck over which oat milk to open. You are in the right place.
And if you have been holding your breath for years, it is time to exhale.
You don't need to know what to call yourself. Lightworker, empath, oracle, starseed, mystic, or no name at all. You don't need to read tarot. You only need to be willing to look at yourself with love and a little humor.
What happens next

What is the Order of the Ever-Unfolding Rose?

Is the Order real, or part of the story?
Both. In Suzy's story, the Order is the rose lineage that sends the invitations. In real life, it is this membership and its community. You join the real one and get to enjoy the storybook one.
What is The Mystic's Journey?
Larissa's book on the 22 archetypes of the tarot's Major Arcana, read as the stages of becoming. It is what the Order teaches from.
Who is Little Suzy Lightworker?
A fictional fairy, and a loving portrait of every over-eager seeker. Her story is how each month's lesson becomes something you can see and laugh at.
When does it open?
The Rose opens late fall. Gathering dates are shared inside the Order each month.
Do I need to read tarot?
No. The archetypes are the map. You only need to be willing to walk.
Do I have to call myself a lightworker, or a mystic?
No. Come as you are, with whatever name fits or none at all.
What if I arrive mid-journey?
Then you arrive right on time. No archetype requires the one before it. Each will meet you where you stand, and Suzy's earlier chapters are waiting for you in the library.
Can I leave?
At any time. Everything you have received stays yours.
